Inside NBX– Casper Highlights from Next Block Expo Berlin

Connecting with the blockchain community in one of Europe's most prominent blockchain events – Next Block Expo (NBX), gave us great pleasure. As a proud sponsor of 'The Blockchain Festival of Europe', Casper Network welcomed developers, visionaries, and entrepreneurs worldwide!

Held in Berlin on November 23rd and 24th, NBX brought 5000 attendees, 100+ sponsors & exhibitors, and 80+ speakers together under one roof. The event offered exciting opportunities for startups and newly established blockchain companies to get in contact with founders, angel & retail investors, and VC firms.

Casper Association Ecosystem Director Alizée Carli represented Casper on the opening day with a keynote on the main stage. She gave an insightful presentation on how developers and entrepreneurs can build successful blockchain software and businesses when most variables are outside their control.

A network specifically designed for already established businesses and promising up-and-comers, Casper provides a unique perspective and the tailored blockchain infrastructure to build a future-proof business.

Casper Accelerate Grant Program Invites Developers to Build and Accelerate Future-proof Businesses

To end her keynote presentation, Alizée officially announced Casper's new $25 million Accelerate Grant Program during her presentation. This exciting program has been launched to support developers and innovators building on the powerful Casper public blockchain worldwide. The multi-year program will provide funding to projects building apps to support infrastructure, end-user applications, and research innovation on the Casper blockchain.

"The Casper Accelerate Grant Program has been designed to inspire and support developers and entrepreneurs to leverage Casper's unique permissionless blockchain technology to reimagine current solutions, create new value propositions and set up new markets." Alizée Carli - Ecosystem Director of the Casper Association

In line with the program's purpose, one of the key criteria in the selection process will be the positive impact projects will have on the wider Casper community and the Casper ecosystem. The quality of the submission, technical or academic strength of the proposal, opportunity for growth, experience level and commitment as well as the track record of the team submitting the projects will also be taken into consideration during the selection process. For all criteria, powering the growth of the public Casper network will be the overarching goal.

"We are thrilled to announce the Casper Accelerate Grant Program, which has been carefully designed to support innovation and decentralized businesses that help to grow the Casper ecosystem." Ralf Kubli – Board Member at the Casper Association
