Casper Joins the DeRec Alliance to Advance Decentralized Recovery in the Web3

We are excited to announce the Casper Association’s involvement as a new Alliance member of the recently formed DeRec Alliance.

Founded by industry leaders, the overarching goal of the DeRec Alliance is to drive widespread adoption of blockchain technology by simplifying and securing the process of recovering digital assets and other sensitive information.

By establishing an open-source, industry-standard protocol for decentralized recovery, the DeRec Alliance aims to make the recovery process as straightforward as traditional Web2 experiences.

Casper’s Role and Vision in the Alliance

The DeRec protocol has transformative potential. It serves as a gateway to broader, mainstream adoption of blockchain technology. By aligning with the DeRec Alliance, Casper is advancing this critical technology while contributing to a framework that ensures user-friendly, secure, and interoperable digital experiences across various blockchain networks.

“We are excited to join this alliance,” said Ralf Kubli, Board Director of Casper Association. "This partnership presents an opportunity for greater interoperability across chains and significantly improved user experiences, paving the way for mainstream adoption of token holding."

As part of the DeRec Alliance, Casper will actively participate in quarterly meetings, contribute to the policy-making process, and work on developing DeRec-based solutions that align with our mission to provide secure, scalable, and developer-friendly blockchain infrastructure.
