As part of our ongoing engagement with the Casper community to create the world’s most flexible, upgradeable blockchain ecosystem, we are excited to announce that the Casper CEP 78 NFT standard has now been upgraded to v1.2 . This upgrade marks a significant improvement in the CEP 78 standard, providing developers with a much easier approach to building even more efficient ( including cost efficiency ) NFT applications on Casper.
CEP 78 v1.2 adds implementation of event tracking which enables developers and their applications to easily track events, such as mint, transfer, burn, approval granted/revoked, etc that have occurred against their NFT’s smart contract. This means that greater controls and better tracking are now available for Casper’s NFT standard for a more secure and interactive development experience. For more detailed information here.
