Monthly community calls are invaluable to us as they allow us to connect directly with developers and users across the globe in an interactive setting. Since early 2023, we've been conducting two types of community calls to better cater to the diverse interests within our ecosystem.
X (Twitter) Space calls, address broader topics relevant to all members of the Casper community including ecosystem updates and general announcements.
The second type, previously held on Discord, delves into more technical matters, specifically designed for developers and technically inclined enthusiasts. The separation of these calls has greatly improved engagement and allowed us to deliver more targeted information.
Based on insightful feedback from our community, we're excited to announce a shift in how we conduct our developer-focused calls.
Starting April 23rd, Casper Association Developer Community Calls will move from Discord to Google Meet.
This change will allow us to leverage Google Meet's interactive capabilities, such as video communication, screen sharing, whiteboard, and the option to record sessions, allowing more dynamic exchanges and transforming these calls into hands-on workshops.
Developer community calls will continue to occur every four weeks on Tuesdays at 6 PM CET. We invite our developer community and technical enthusiasts to join us on Google Meet for these enriched sessions.
We are adopting a more structured format for our developer calls. Each call will be organized into four categories, including updates and discussions on Research & Development, Developer Relations, Core Protocol, and the Casper ecosystem.
You can access the first revamped meeting on April 23rd at 6pm CET at this link: https://meet.google.com/swo-afva-ezu
Please note that our community calls on X (Twitter) Spaces will continue as scheduled without changes. We remain committed to engaging with our broader community through this platform.
We look forward to making the most of the new functionalities offered by Google Meet and enhancing our interaction with you all. Be sure to join the next developer community call on April 23, 2024.
