Made possible with the technical support and grant award from Casper Network, the Casper Gift Card Dapp is a user-friendly and secure platform for purchasing gift cards using CSPR tokens directly from Casper Wallet. The project offers a rich selection of gift cards from popular US brands while leveraging the Verso technology stack. It is the first dApp in the Casper ecosystem that allows the purchase of gift cards with CSPR, creating more real-world use cases for Casper’s utility token and expanding the ecosystem further.
The Casper Gift Card Dapp utilizes Verso’s robust technology stack and provides a seamless payment processing experience with real-time transaction rates. Users can use their gift cards both online and offline as the gift cards can be redeemed directly on the brand's website or app, or they can be used in-store by showing the virtual gift card barcode to the cashier at participating stores.
The Casper Gift Card DApp is currently focused on the US market and offers gift cards from US brands only, including Airbnb, Adidas, Barnes & Noble, Burger King, Chipotle, Claire's, Columbia, Domino’s, DoorDash, EA, GameStop, Delta Airlines, JCPenney, Nike, Macy's, Sephora and Under Armour.

The project will drive the adoption of CSPR tokens by demonstrating their practical utility to a large and growing community of Casper enthusiasts. Future versions will expand the global reach of the Casper Gift Card DApp to include more brands and regions as well as offer the Verso technology stack for other payment processing use cases.
The grant support from Casper has helped kickstart joint efforts to expand the Casper ecosystem and promote its adoption. The collaboration will continue on marketing and promotional initiatives for users to discover the Casper Gift Card Dapp.
